Danielle DeToro (Owner)
Danielle DeToro began working with animals at the age of 16 when she got a job at a local veterinary hospital. It gave her tons of experience in running a doggie daycare. Along the way she also worked on her own as a local pet sitter. With the clientele built up from years of experience with animals..Danielle opened up It’s A Dog‘s Life in Middlefield CT on July 1st 2009. ”I love what I’m doing“ she said. “I’ve Always wanted to work with Animals“. Danielle is also certified with Dog First Aid by American Red Cross and a certified vet assistant. On top of running the business Danielle also has 2 mini Australian Shepherds named Mayze and Chase who are always by her side!
Mike Cronin (General Manager)
Mike has a huge heart for Dogs and began his animal career at the age of 17 also working for a local veterinary hospital where he met Danielle and worked with her for a couple of years. In 2009 Mike left the veterinary hospital to join forces with Danielle at It’s A Dog‘s Life. The two of them have been working together for over 14+ years and are still going strong. Mike has always been around animals his whole life. Mike and Danielle are an amazing tag team and have been running It‘s A Dog’s Life for 12 years now!
